Google bought motorola

News has it that the big owner of the worlds famous internet search engine bought a mobile operator(motorola) for the total sum of $12.5billion. News also has it that the one in question(google) bought this mobile operator for different reasons which are:-
1. It will acquire motorola mobility
2. The other reason for this was said to be that they want to bash apple, as we mostly know that apple is a very big operator but with the aid of the newly bought mobile operator it will be easier to bash.
Google has achieved ernomous success with its porpular product Andriod OS for mobile phones, an open-source model adopted by motorola mobility and many of its rivals including samsung electronics. Indeed market researchers like Gartner estimate Android is the top platform, with a nearly 43 percent share in the second quarter, compared with Apple's 19 percent.
